8. Qui: Tout le monde peut participer. Envoyez-nous simplement l'url web de votre site décrivant votre drone et ses capacités. Une courte vidéo de votre drone en action serait également appréciée. Assurez-vous de lire attentivement la description de ce qui constitue un drone véritablement autonome. Si nous aimons ce que nous voyons, ou si nous avons d'autres questions, nous vous contacterons. Vous recevrez alors également un lien de téléchargement des données vidéo du drone Tahiti.

10. Règles: Le championnat consistera en trois épreuves exécutées en alternance. Tous les tests auront lieu pendant la journée et commenceront tôt le matin. L'horaire:

22. Qu'est-ce qu'un drone autonome?

24. Dans les termes les plus simples, toute la navigation du drone est gérée par le drone à bord. En d'autres termes, pas de WiFi, pas d'Internet, pas de GPS, pas d'intervention humaine sous quelque forme ou manière que ce soit et pas de commande fly-by-wire. Toute navigation doit être effectuée par le drone seul.

26. Comment le drone sera-t-il informé de sa destination cible?

    3 modes sont envisagés:

29. 1. Le nom de la cible (soit en anglais, français ou tahitien local). Par exemple, cela peut être un nom de point de repère comme : "Les trois cascades".
30. 2. Une brève description de la cible en anglais ou en français. Par exemple, "La cible recherchée est une église avec un haut clocher. Le clocher contient une horloge tournée vers l'océan. L'horloge n'a pas de bras des minutes et des heures. Après avoir détecté la cible, survolez-la et prenez une vidéo aérienne. Enfin, revenez à l'emplacement de départ d'origine.".

33. Mode opératoire de la compétition d'essai:

35. La journée commence à 5h30. Les concurrents recevront tous la même cible de destination. Chacun dispose de 2 heures de temps pour saisir les informations dans les drones. Dès que tout le monde aura terminé cette tâche, ou que les 2 heures seront écoulées, les drones et les concurrents seront emmenés vers un point de départ non divulgué sur l'île de Tahiti. Une fois le point de départ atteint, les concurrents seront invités à activer leurs drones. Aucune autre interaction entre les concurrents et leurs drones ne sera autorisée.

37. Gagnant: Le gagnant sera guéri en fonction d'un score global indiquant à quel point il a réussi à résoudre les trois épreuves et le temps qu'il a fallu pour terminer la tâche.

6. Why: Assess the current status of advanced drone and AI technology.
7. Who: Anybody can participate. Simply send us the web url of your site describing your drone and its capabilities. A short video of your drone in action would also be nice. Make sure you carefully read the description on what constitutes a truly autonomous drone. If we like what we see, or have any further questions, we will contact you. You will then also receive a download link for the Tahiti drone video data.

9. Rules: The championship will consist of three tests being executed on alternating days. All tests will occur during the daytime and start early in the morning. The schedule:

21. What constitutes an autonomous drone?

23. In the most simplest terms, all drone navigation is handled by the drone on board. In other words no WiFi, no Internet, no GPS, no human intervention in any form or manner and no fly-by-wire control. All navigation has to be performed by the drone on its own.

    How will the drone be informed of its target destination?

28. 1. The name of the target (either in English, French, or the local Tahitian language). For example, this can be a landmark name like: "Les trois cascades".
29. 2. A short description of the target in either English or French. For example, "The target being sought is a church with a high steeple. The steeple contains a clock facing towards the ocean. The clock has no minute and hour arm. After detecting the target, fly around it, and take an aerial video. Finally, return to the original starting location.".

32. Trial competition modus operandi:

34. The day starts at 5:30 am. The contestants will all receive the same destination target. Everyone has 2 hours time at their disposal to enter the information into the drones. As soon as everyone has completed this task, or the 2 hours are up, the drones and the contestants will be taken to an undisclosed starting point on the island of Tahiti. Once the starting point has been reached the contestants will be asked to activate their drones. No further interaction between the contestants and their drones will be allowed.

36. Winner: The winner will be cured based on an overall score of how close he/she came to solving all three trials and the amount of time it took to complete the task.
